![]() ![]() ![]() Do you remember those triangular eyes, those thick black borders that made every character look so utterly fucked up? Gone. ![]() ![]() CHARACTER DESIGN: Again, they took away the gloomy part. Also the text font sucks, looks like it came out of a 2000's Age of Empire game. The icons are both too basic (0 creativity) and too complex (too much small detail in the drawing), making it difficult to recognise them intuitively. It's an endless set of brown squares and rectangular bars, as if they got it from a free roleplay-making site on the internet, and it's so hard to tell the items apart. It got its job done, it was easy and simple, chill on the eyes, every object was easily spottable. USER INTERFACE: Let's face it, S&S's interface was not one of the most comfortable ones, but wasn't uncomfortable either.Everything is now clear, often designed on a clean rectangle-square theme (walls, platforms, backgrounds, User interface). No more foggy, dark, rotten, desolate, forgotten, or anything. Everyone's been talking good about it, but I feel like they took away that gloomy ambience that made S&S what it is. We can keep playing Salt and Sanctuary! >:).Great MULTIPLAYER update, with almost no lag. They also added a new fabulous shield mechanic. In general, fighting now feels way smoother. Great update of the COMBAT SYSTEM, mostly for bows and their attack speed/aim system.PLEASE CHANGE MY MIND, I WANT TO LIKE THIS GAME AND BUY IT :') I'm gonna list down here all of the pros and cons I think can be said about this game, I'd be grateful if you could leave your own opinion in the comments. It feels like a more casual and MMORPG-like version of the first game, without all of its iconic traits. I've watched a couple alpha/beta gameplays on youtube, and I really don't understand what's everyone so excited about. I've recently come to know that in a few months the sequel Salt and Sacrifice is going to be released and. ![]()
